THE PROGRAM

THE CASH4CHURCHES PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARD

The Cash4Churches Prescription Drug Card provides a discount for users
on their prescription medications, whether they purchase just one, or multiple prescriptions every week or month for their entire family.

When you register your church, synagogue, mosque or other religious
organization to participate in the Program, you will be issued your own Group ID number that will be featured on any prescription discount cards you order, and correspondence between us. You will then be required to purchase a minimum of 1,000 full color cards for just $34.95 (includes shipping and sales tax where applicable.) If you wish to customize your cards with your organization's information or logo, simply send us an e-mail with the appropriate information and attachment(s) and we will forward final artwork for your approval or changes before printing.

Once you've received your cards (please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery), you may distribute the cards to as few or as many of your parishioners as you like--anyone who is interested in saving money on their prescription medications may qualify (see Qualification information below.)

Each card will include specific information that identifies purchases made from the members of your church. It is important for each user to PRESENT THE CARD BEFORE THEY ORDER THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS to be sure the chosen pharmacy accepts the card, and processes the information prior to dispensing each prescription. This will ensure that your church receives proper credit for every purchase made, and the user receives the appropriate discount. If your chosen pharmacy is not a member of our program (though most of the nation's pharmacies are), simply have them call our Toll Free Pharmacy Help Desk: (877) 277-7934, who will help guide them through the process of registration. It only takes just a few minutes of your pharmacist's time, and well worth the effort.

Purchases are tracked monthly, and checks issued (as donations) to your church within approximately 21 days following the end of each month during which prescription purchases were made. The more each card is used, the greater the contribution to your organization. Each qualified prescription transaction (every prescription, not just the transaction itself) entitles your church to a ONE DOLLAR donation. A "qualified prescription transaction" is defined as one for which the pharmacy agrees to extend our company a commission. Approximately one-half of all common prescription transactions are commissionable and thus qualified as part of this Program, sometimes more, sometimes less depending upon the drug prescribed, strength, quantity, and the dispensing pharmacy. Congregations with hundreds of members using the card each month, for multiple prescriptions for each member of their family, can add up to THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS per year in effortless contributions to their church's coffers. It's really that simple.

The savings don't stop there. Your church, like most churches, are valuable assets to your community. You provide assistance and spiritual guidance to everyone in need, regardless of their religious affiliation. When your church has a community activity of any kind, people in your community can help support your organization by using the card, just like your parishioners, while saving their hard-earned money on their prescription medications. Members are encouraged to give out cards to their friends and neighbors, increasing your fundraising opportunities exponentially!

QUALIFICATION

CHURCHES

To participate in the Cash4Churches Program, churches must be a qualified religious organization ("church") meeting the criteria for tax exempt status under the US Internal Revenue Service code, capable of receiving legal, tax deductable donations. Churches or religious entities that do not meet this criteria may also participate in the Cash4Churches Program, but will be issued IRS 1099 forms at the end of each year, with the amount they received under the Program reported to the IRS as "Miscellaneous Income" during that calendar year, and thus subject to income tax.

CARD USERS

Church members who use the card qualify to receive prescription discounts generally if they do NOT have private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid with prescription drug benefits. This is not always the case. In some instances, people with high drug copays or deductables, low coverage threshholds, or gaps in Rx coverage may save more money using the Cash4Churches Prescription Drug Card. Every program and policy is unique. We therefore encourage everyone, with or without insurance coverage, to talk to their pharmacist to determine the best and most money-saving program to use for their prescription medications. And we encourage participating churches to distribute the Card to everyone in their congregation, regardless of insurance coverage.

More and more people who have been hit with economic stress, pay cuts, job losses, foreclosures and more, are losing their healthcare benefits (including those for prescription medications). It's happening daily to many of your parishioners who turn to you, their churches, for help. People in these tough situations can always be helped through this Program. But even if many of your members already receive prescription drug benefits, they can still save money by getting their laboratory testing and imaging services through the Program, as many insurance policies, including Medicare and Medicaid, do not cover all or part of these services.

INTRODUCING THE PROGRAM TO MEMBERS OF A CONGREGATION

We recommend making an announcement during your next church service, in your next newsletter or written communication to members, or on your website (if you have one), or all of the above. Introducing the Program to the entire congregation, along with the benefits to members and the church itself in its effort to raise funds, will have the best results. Most of your congregation will get behind the Program once they learn of the benefits to the church, to themselves, and to others.

We're happy to supply written information, artwork, and almost anything you require to make the announcement, upon request. Simply let us know how we can help, and we will do everything we can to help you communicate with your members and encourage their participation. Here is an example of something that can be said during a meeting, sermon or conference, or worded similarly for a newsletter or email:

"I'd like to introduce to the congregation a new program that can provide important health benefits at tremendous savings to all of you, and help our church raise money at the same time. The name of the program is 'Cash For Churches,' and it works like this: If you, anyone in your family, or someone you know needs help paying for their prescription medications, we will help by giving out these FREE prescription discount cards that could help them save up to 80% on the cost of their prescriptions. The card works whether you have or don't have health insurance, so I encourage everyone to use the card to see what they can save. And each time someone uses the card, the church gets a generous percentage as a donation. It's a great program, and we hope you will help support the church as we continue to help those in need. We'd like to encourage members to pass these out to their family and friends (cards are distributed). The more people who use the card, the more money we can raise. The cards are free, you don't have to fill out any paperwork or keep track of anything. You just have to use it, and encourage others to do the same. The card can be used at almost all major pharmacies in the area. It's really a great program for anyone who can use it. And a great opportunity for us. We sincerely appreciate everyone's support."
